Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before using the ALYV Science website and telehealth platform. By accessing our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Nature of Services
ALYV Science is a telehealth platform that facilitates connections between patients and independent, licensed healthcare providers. ALYV Science does not practice medicine, employ physicians, or provide medical advice. All medical decisions, including diagnoses, treatment recommendations, and prescriptions, are made solely by the independent licensed providers who use the ALYV platform.
2. No Doctor-Patient Relationship with ALYV
Your use of the ALYV platform does not create a doctor-patient relationship between you and ALYV Science. Any doctor-patient relationship formed is exclusively between you and the independent licensed provider facilitating your care.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age and a resident of a U.S. state in which we have licensed providers available. You represent that the information you provide during intake is accurate, complete, and current. Providing false health information may constitute fraud and may result in termination of services.
4. Prescription Medications
All prescription medications available through the ALYV platform are dispensed only upon a valid prescription issued by a licensed healthcare provider. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved drugs. Medications are compounded and dispensed by independent licensed U.S. 503A or 503B pharmacies. ALYV Science does not manufacture, compound, or dispense medications.
5. Not a Substitute for Emergency Care
ALYV Science is not an emergency medical service. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or visit your nearest emergency room immediately. Do not use the ALYV platform for urgent or life-threatening conditions.
6. Payment and Refunds
Payment is due at the time of service. Consultation fees are non-refundable once a provider has reviewed your intake. Medication orders may be subject to pharmacy-specific refund policies. Contact care@alyvscience.com for billing questions.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on the ALYV Science website — including text, graphics, logos, images, and software — is the property of ALYV Science and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution is prohibited.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The ALYV platform and all content are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ALYV Science shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our platform or services — including outcomes related to medical treatment prescribed by independent providers.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Orange County, California.
